The Govt streaming enquiry has delivered its results and delivered a pretty damning report on the state of the UK Music Industry with the government recommending that artists reserve the right to earn royalties via 'equitable renumeration' from the streaming companies, plus recommending the UK Competition and Markets authority undertake a full review of the majors dominance and finally they recommend artists have the right to recapture their copyright after 20 years. Will the majors be nervous, its still early days but will be interesting to see how things pan out. More details here
